How this site is funded, its independence from any contractor, and the limits of what its guides can do for a particular home.
This site has no sponsors, sells nothing and takes no payment from contractors, manufacturers or retailers. If that ever changes, any commercial link will be marked where it appears and carry rel="sponsored" in the page code, and it will never change what a guide says.
Independence
Until about 2020 the domain belonged to ATD Contracting Services Inc., a renovation company whose website is no longer at this address. This site has no connection to that company or to any other contractor, and does not recommend particular businesses.
